The TEFL Institute offers a variety of dynamic online and in-person certification programs. You can complete your coursework at home, while traveling, on your own time. Our in-person certification programs are held around the world and students can even register for a weekend course in Chicago.

Each course is highly intensive and focuses on the general principles of TEFL Instruction. The TEFL Institute interactive course is 120 hours of TEFL Certification training. It is comprised of 100 hours of online coursework covering classroom lesson planning, and practice sessions in an interactive virtual classroom community; plus every graduate must complete 20 hours of practicum experience by volunteering as a tutor or instructor at an EFL/ESL Clinic in their community. We provide every successful graduate with ESL Teaching placement assistance. Our TEFL Certificate recognized by the major accreditation and recognition TEFL organizations. Upon completion of the course you will have a lifetime of placement assistance and support in locating teaching projects abroad.

We can offer highly structured and volunteer English Teaching projects in over 16 countries. These programs are geared to candidates seeking 2 to 12 week assignments as volunteer English Teaching instructors in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, France, Spain, and many other countries.

Participants in the TEFL Interactive course are enrolled in a virtual online classroom through Blackboard.com. Participants work complete the course at their pace. They are given 60 days to complete the course and can extend the course completion date to as long as a year for a nominal fee. Your course instructor maintains online office hours and is available by telephone to answer your questions.

The TEFL Interactive Course is an innovative and comprehensive course that exceeds the basic online TEFL Instruction offered by other companies. It is the first of its kind in the TEFL field that allows participants to learn in a virtual classroom environment monitored by a certified instructor. Participants who complete the course successfully will be awarded the TEFL Institute's Self-Paced Certification that enables them to teach worldwide.

Most participants will complete the course in about 30 to 60 days. Other participants may take a little longer. Your TEFL Institute instructor will help you through this process.

The TEFL Interactive Course is an innovative and comprehensive course that exceeds the basic online TEFL Instruction offered by other companies. It is the first of its kind in the TEFL field that allows participants to learn in a virtual classroom environment monitored by a certified instructor. Participants who complete the course successfully will be awarded the TEFL Institute's TEFL Certification that enables them to teach worldwide.

The TEFL Institute self-paced course has over 70 hours of coursework, lesson planning,practicum and online practice sessions. Each successful graduate will complete 50 hours of coursework and 20 hours of practicum experience. Our TEFL Certificate recognized by the major accreditation and recognition TEFL organizations.

Participants in the Self-Paced course are enrolled in a virtual online classroom through Blackboard.com. Participants work complete the course at their pace. They are given six months to complete the course and can extend the course completion date to as long as a year for a nominal fee. The TEFL Self-Paced Course is an innovative and comprehensive course that exceeds the basic online TEFL Instruction offered by other companies. It is the first of its kind in the TEFL field that allows participants to learn in a virtual classroom environment monitored by a certified instructor. Participants who complete the course successfully will be awarded the TEFL Institute's Self-Paced Certification that enables them to teach worldwide.

The TEFL Institute Weekend course has over 150 hours of coursework, lesson planning, and online practice sessions plus we guarantee every successful graduate an ESL Teaching assignment. Our TEFL Certificate recognized by the major accreditation and recognition TEFL organizations. Upon completion of the course you will have a lifetime of placement assistance and support in locating teaching projects abroad.

TEFL Weekend provides over 100 hours of TEFL Instruction. The class schedules begin on a Thursday evening and are completed by Sunday afternoon. Classes are most of the day on Friday and Practicum Training is on Saturday. The course fee includes class materials, videos, and TEFL Manuals. Lectures, workshops and observation of experienced teachers take up the majority of the course time. Practice Sessions in front of the class or by video is another portion of the class. Whenever practical, participants will have the chance to observe actual classes.

By the end of this course, Participants will complete 100 hours of training. It should take anywhere from 30 to 60 days to complete the course. Your TEFL Training is provided in the following manner:

• 100 hours of coursework material
• 25 hours of in-class work with the instructor
• 25 hours of volunteer English teaching

While the instructor has the lead role in feedback sessions, contributions are invited, encouraged and welcomed from all; these could be in the form of comments or questions. When discussing a particular lesson, the teacher of that lesson is expected to comment on the lesson; developing an ability to evaluate one's own teaching is a very important component of the course.

At the end of classroom session, Participants are enrolled in a virtual online classroom moderated by a certified TEFL Institute instructor through Blackboard.com to complete their assignments. Participants work on team projects and enter discussion boards in a virtual environment. You can interact with students from around the world as they complete the course with you. Your course instructor maintains online office hours and is available by telephone to answer your questions.

The TEFL Interactive Course is the first of its kind in the TEFL field that allows participants to learn in a virtual classroom environment monitored by a certified instructor combined with live classroom instruction. Participants who complete the course successfully will be awarded the TEFL Institute's highest level of TEFL Certification that enables them to teach worldwide.

The TEFL Institute Weekend course offers over 120 hours of coursework, lesson planning, and online practice sessions in Shanghai, China. Plus we assist every successful graduate in finding an ESL Teaching assignment. Our TEFL Certificate is recognized by the major accreditation and recognition TEFL organizations. Upon completion of the course you will have a lifetime of placement assistance and support in locating teaching projects abroad.

The class will take two weeks to complete followed by two weeks of practicum training. The entire process will take about four weeks to complete. Classes begin Monday morning at 9:00am to 5:00pm and are concluded by Friday afternoon. The course fee includes class materials, videos, and TEFL Manuals.
