    FAQ: 

    a. No, we do not suggest you bring your X Box

    b. We do not suggest bringing LCD projector, they are expensive and the risk is high if damaged by travel or theft. 

    c. Laptops are okay. 

    d. Sweatpants are not acceptable attire in classroom.

    e. Tattoos are acceptable so long as you know what they say and they are not offensive. 

     

    1.         Clothes for Two Weeks  (10-days)
                There will be laundry service  or a machine available.
              a.       Seasonal Attire, plan accordingly
              b.       T-Shirts,  Polo Shirts
              c.       Several Pairs of Shorts  
              d.       1 Pair, Long Pants,  (Jeans or Other.) + Belt
              e.       Short Sleeve Dress Shirt or Blouse
              f.        Money Belt
              g.       Comfortable Walking Shoes, Sneakers
              h.       Shoes, Sandals, Sneakers
     
    2.         Medications, Basic Medical Package
                a.       Prescriptions, bring enough to cover your stay.
                b.       Basic Medical:
                       i.        Band Aids, Bandages, DENTAL FLOSS
                       ii.       Tylenol, Aspirin, Melatonin (To aid with Jet Lag)
                      iii.       Anti-Diarrhea (Pepto Bismol, Imodium) 
                      iv.       See if you can get your doctor to prescribe,

                       v.       Anti-Constipation  Medication (Dulcolax)

    3.         Books, Magazines Any popular magazine will do.
              a.     Readers Digest, Celebrity Magazines, Time, Newsweek - You can derive

                      some lessons from the articles in these magazines!
              b.     Children's Books
              c.     Old textbooks as gifts. 

    4.         Small Gifts or Presents:  A small token of your culture, or specific to your local area.  Something to be given to the headmaster of the school or even to your classes.  (Candy, baseball or basketball cards, old text books, red-socks key chains, stickers for the children.) 

    5.         Camera + Film:      Getting your photographs developed in China is MUCH less expensive than getting them done at home. It is suggested that you befriend the owner of a neighborhood store as they will be more than happy to have you as a customer. Teachers in the past have save HUNDREDS of dollars by buying their albums in China and placing pictures in them before returning to the US.
